RANCANG BANGUN TELEMEDICINE HEART RATE MONITOR MENGGUNAKAN ARDUINO DAN ESP8266 BERBASIS IOT REST API

Abstract

Distance has long been an barrier faced by someone who is ill to require special treatment in a remote location with health care facility. Telemedicine has become an answer and a method that has began to be noticed in the world of healthcare, this method significantly improves the costs of patients by reducing direct visits to healthcare services. The design of an IOT platform that uses the RESTful API can be used as a communication gateway for Telemedicine devices. Using a pulse sensor as a sensor that reads blood volume changes in the skin layer, the arduino microcontroller as a data processing and an esp8266 wifi chip as a communication module makes the Telemedicine Heart - Rate Monitor design easier, also the exchange of data and information between devices microcontroller to Server IOT and Client side application more flexible.
